How do the services work?

Premier Résumé:  Need a new or totally overhauled résumé? Let us create it! Through an initial consultation and collaboration, we'll partner to craft a document that impresses recruiters and hiring managers to start your new career path. Unlike other résumé providers, future updates to your CCrésumé are a fraction of the initial cost since we already have your CCrésumé built from scratch. 
 
Focused Résumé  Not sure where to start?  We will partner together to craft a résumé that targets the industry specific roles you desire so that your new résumé will get noticed!

If you are not completely satisfied with the services you receive, let us know and we will work with you to address your concern and meet your needs as long as you are partnering 'with us' and providing the required information and cooperation to complete the process .

What should I expect?

Depending on the service selected, it is usually best to schedule an initial consultation to discuss your career goals and ensure your timeline can be achieved, as there are often several requests in our queue.  Once your payment is finalized, you will be sent a 'first draft' of your new résumé at the agreed upon timeline from the date of payment.  We will review the feedback you provide once you review the new résumé and if needed we will collaborate to revise your document to assist you in achieving the career goals discussed during the initial conversation.  Edits, if needed, are usually completed within five (5) business days from the date you provide feedback.

Do you provide sample résumé?

When you choose to partner with us, you’ll work one-on-one to develop a résumé that is customized to your goals; because of this, each document is unique and tailored to your specific needs. We have a library of sample available.  The best testimony is "word of mouth," so feel free to check out what others have to say by viewing our testimonials page on this website or by searching Google.

I have a résumé that needs updated. What service should I choose?

This would be the Premier Résumé.   Your résumé is refreshed in a new template to showcase your skills, aligning them with the roles you're seeking. You'll receive unlimited interaction and up to two revisions for up to one week after you receive your first draft, making this the perfect choice for the job seeker who needs a résumé 'overhaul' to stand out from the rest or change industries entirely.  

Also, once you're a CCrésumé client, future updates to your CCrésumé won't cost as much as the initial investment, since we built your résumé, you will only pay a fraction of the initial cost for future updates as your career progresses or needs change.

What format will I receive my résumé in?

All documents are delivered in PDF and Word, so you can easily copy and paste to email and online forms.  A non-formatted version will be sent in Pages format, if required, for Mac and/or Word version for PC. We also keep a copy of your files in case you can't locate them when you need them due to computer crash, lost files, etc.

What if my résumé is longer than 2 pages?

If you require a résumé that is longer than two (2) pages, there is an additional $50 per page for each page over two pages. Depending on your career level and your goals, this will be decided prior to securing services.  We are happy to have a discussion around your specific requirements to eliminate any confusion during the process.  Depending on the industry and the role, a two (2) page résumé is preferred by hiring managers and recruiters alike.

What if I plan to change careers, I'm just starting out, or I'm seeking a fresh start?

We've helped hundreds re-enter the workforce, break into a new industry, transition from military to a civilian career, enter companies from Union assignments, enter the workforce after schooling, or advance in their current careers. Extensive knowledge across a wide range of industries allows us to provide inside information of what recruiters and hiring managers are looking for in the sector you wish to enter. We also create a one-page résumé for new graduates entering the workforce which helps them by providing a base résumé to build on for years when transitioning throughout their career.

Are there templates to choose from?

Yes, we can provide several templates for you to choose from. You can also request a particular template you're seeking to use. Although, you may want to let your résumé writer select the best option depending upon the career or industry you're choosing to pursue.

What is the Premier Résumé Service?

Premier Resume Service includes your résumé rewritten in a new template, tailored specifically to your ideal position.  Your new résumé is based on the information you provide, an initial consultation, and any supporting documentation you include. You also receive unlimited email interaction and two revisions within one week after you receive your first draft. Your new résumé may be up to two pages long, depending on your experience, projects, and other information.

 

Can you update a résumé you created for me?

Yes, if we created your résumé, then updates are only a fraction of the initial cost you paid to create a CCrésumé.  It is best to discuss your needs so there is no confusion and an accurate statement of work can be agreed upon.  Just call, 412-908-0011 and we can reconnect.

How do I get started?

You can easily secure services by choosing from payment apps or pay in-person for services.  Since the information is customized to your requests and the work is proprietary, payment is required before work begins. Once payment is received the timeline starts, we will begin working on your customized résumé to be completed on the date agreed, as all timelines are adhered to since we take pride in never missing deadlines to help you capture more opportunities.
